Job Description - Finance & Operations Director

Help lead the next stage of growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO.
Lead all aspects of finance and oversee operational functions.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop the finance function, owning budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial modelling and analysis
Oversee operational performance across supply chain, procurement, and compliance
Work closely with investors and external stakeholders, including presenting board-level reports
Ensure strong governance, risk management and financial controls
Support fundraising and investment activity as required

About You

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Proven leadership in a finance and/or operations role within a scale-up, energy, engineering, or infrastructure-related business
Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
Hands-on, adaptable, and confident operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Passion for the renewables or clean tech sector is a strong plus
