Finance Assistant

REED Accountancy and Finance are working exclusively with a Family SME Manufacturing Client based in Ferndown recruiting a Finance Assistant:Finance Assistant

Full Time (or potential for 30 hours) 8am - 4.30pm (can be flexible with hour)

Ideally Office based

Salary £28,000 - £35,000 (If AAT Qualified) + Company Bonus

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll work closely with a colleague to ensure smooth day-to-day financial processes using Xero.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices, expenses, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (preferred)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• A team player with strong communication abilities
• AAT qualification or working towards it (desirable)
