Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant – Rotherham – up to £28,000

Chase & Holland are working alongside a market leading manufacturing business in Rotherham, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Finance team during a period of change and implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful business.

Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

• Processing supplier sales invoices, matching and processing of receipt
• Credit control
• Generating Purchase Orders, adding new suppliers and overdue accounts
• Reconciliation of transport statements / scan PODS
• Update of Import schedule when payments made
• Monitoring / Recording of daily banking activity
• Cash book postings
• Bank reconciliations
• Allocating all payments to the cashbook and the ledgers
• Processing expenses claims
• Processing and posting of credit card statements
• Assist with month end accounts preparation
• Recording of factory production

Experience:

• Experience of working in a similar varied accounts role
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly computer literate
• Strong organisational skills
