Finance Assistant – Sparsholt, Winchester
£30k | Full-time | Hybrid Working (4 days in-office, 1 from home)

We’re looking for a detail-driven Finance Assistant to join a supportive and collaborative team based in Sparsholt, just outside Winchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with finance support experience who enjoys a varied role and thrives in a well-organised, friendly environment.

This is a full-time position, offering hybrid working – typically 4 days in the office and 1 from home, with additional flexibility available.

You'll be supporting the finance and back-office team with a focus on purchase ledger activities, alongside a mix of general finance and administrative tasks. Your day-to-day will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements

• Monitoring and resolving invoice queries

• Supporting payment runs for suppliers and subcontractors (including CIS)

• Handling staff expenses, credit card transactions, and ad-hoc payments

• Assisting with company admin, such as fleet management and office supplies

• Previous experience in an accounts support or finance assistant role

• A proactive approach and strong attention to detail

• Confident with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook

• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude

• Experience with accounting software (any system)

• Understanding of CIS is a bonus, but not essential
