My client is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join their dynamic Rental Accounts Team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in finance and property management, offering a fast-paced environment where precision and customer service are paramount.

• Monitor and process rental income, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately and on time.
• Chase rent arrears and update landlords accordingly.
• Liaise with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies via email and telephone.
• Issue monthly rental statements to landlords.
• Process and pay contractor invoices.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to rental income.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all rental transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in providing documentation and information during financial audits.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

• Experience in accounts, ideally within property accounts, although this is not essential.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time well and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
