Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a manufacturing in Nottingham on a permanent basis.

As Finance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in managing the transactional finance within a busy & well-established finance team.

You'll be someone naturally great with Accounts because the role includes taking ownership of the ledgers, reconciliation and other duties - so if you have experience within and all-round accounts role this could be the role for you!
About the role
Based in Nottingham you will be responsible for:

• Purchase & sales ledger management
• Bank/Credit Card reconciliation on a daily & weekly basis
• Supplier statements/reconciliations
• Liaison with internal & external stakeholders

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

• Experience within a similar accounts-based role
• AAT qualified (however qualified by experience candidates will also be considered)
• Great communicator
• Strong attention to detail

Experience which is not essential but desirable includes:

• Excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Experience working with multi-currencies
• Experience working within FMCG/manufacturing
