Finance Assistant

A leading organisation is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join its expanding finance team. This opportunity offers a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with genuine opportunities for progression and training support.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, the Finance Assistant will play a pivotal role in day-to-day finance operations. Responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound calls from clients and suppliers
• Managing both sales and purchase ledgers
• Credit control and invoice management
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Processing staff expenses, credit card transactions, and purchase orders
• Supporting with supplier statements and communications
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team

What They're Looking For
This role would suit someone who is perhaps looking for their first role / entry level opportunity to kickstart their career

• Financial / numerical aptitude - practice / invoicing/ bookkeeping experience is a bonus
• Good excel skills (formulas particularly)
• Initiative, good communication, and a collaborative spirit
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment
