Finance Assistant – Ripon, £26-28,000

Salary: £26,000 – £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Ripon (Fully Office-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time

We are currently working with a well-established business in the Ripon area who are looking for a Finance Assistant.

This would suit someone who has experience in a financial/accounts role or a strong administration background and looking for a new challenge.

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support the department and contribute to the smooth running of the finance operations.

Skills and experience required:

• Either Financial or a strong administration background
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a professional manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong IT skills particularly excel
• Willingness to learn – full training provided

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger invoices
• Assist with daily cash posting
• Reconcile sales ledgers and supplier statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
• Manage internal and external account queries
• File invoices and statements
• Credit Control
