JOB TITLE: Finance Assistant

LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid

THE BUSINESS:

C4S Search are pleased to be working with a growing company who provide finance solutions to growing businesses.

THE FINANCE ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY:

• Manage the accounts payable and receivable process, including invoice entry, supplier setup, approvals, recharges, and resolving queries.
• Oversee company credit cards and employee expenses, ensuring accurate records, journal entries, and payments.
• Prepare and process payment runs, and monitor daily bank activity for outgoing transactions.
• Support the finance team by managing the shared accounts inbox and assisting with onboarding new entities into Oracle.
• Use internal billing platforms and provide coverage across other finance functions during holidays or as needed.
• Perform various administrative and ad hoc finance tasks as required.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Genuine interest in accounting systems and comfortable with IT.
• Effective communicator, able to interact clearly with colleagues at all levels.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
