Finance Assistant

Exciting Opportunity as a Finance Assistant at ProCook!

Are you meticulous and enthusiastic about working with numbers? ProCook is looking for a structured and driven Finance Assistant to become a part of our finance team and facilitate the efficient functioning of our accounts department.

Your Role:

The role will suit an organised and motivated finance assistant who has experience with high transaction volumes and reconciliations. An individual who works well with others, is happy to problem solve and continually improve business processes.

This will be a full-time role of 37.5 hours/week with mandatory 3 days per week in our office in GL10 3EZ.

Daily activities:

• Performing daily bank reconciliations
• Completing store sales reconciliations
• Owning expenses process for both retail & SSC colleagues
• Owning credit card management for SSC colleagues
• Processing supplier invoices
• Managing and resolving queries
• Managing the finance set up of new stores
• Assisting with audit queries
• Any other ad hoc tasks

Your Profile:

• Experience in a finance assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Excellent IT skills with strong knowledge of Excel
• Competent in the use of ERP systems
• Strong organisational skills, logical approach and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Self-motivated, resilient and able to demonstrate initiative
