Finance Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Desborough 
Salary: £15.38 per hour 
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will support the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, customer accounts, and supplier records.

Key Responsibilities
Taking customer payments over the telephone.

Posting and processing sales invoices from websites, Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.

Reconciling and separating payments from the day book.

Posting trade account invoices.

Creating and maintaining customer accounts.

Creating and maintaining supplier accounts.

Posting bank receipts accurately and efficiently.

Setting up supplier payment runs.

Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role.

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
