We have an opportunity for a Finance Apprentice to join our Accounts Payable team in the role of Junior Finance Assistant. Whilst working and learning within the team, we will support you in your study for the Level 2 AAT qualification in-conjunction with our approved apprentice training provider.
As a Finance Apprentice in the Accounts Payable Team you will ensure that all sales and purchases made on behalf of the business are accounted for and reconciled accurately. Key tasks will include:
Credit Card and cash receipt reconciliation,
Respond to client queries in respect of bookings / refunds / charges
Assist the credit controllers, including providing copy invoices to clients
Resolving unallocated cash postings by getting additional information required from clients
Managing the Finance Inbox, responding to queries both internal and external with an exceptionally high standard of customer service to both
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades 4 – 9, including Maths and English
Good numerical and written skills
Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
Good attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines
Professional level of customer service
