Nouvo are excited to be working with an organisation who are going from strength to strength within the Property sector.

I am partnering with a small property company who are now actively seeking a Finance Assistant to provide support to the team. This is a newly created role with plenty of progression opportunities.

What can you expect?

• Provide support to the purchase ledger manager and property accountant.
• Ad-hoc support to wider team
• Setting up & onboarding new suppliers into Qube
• Uploading and processing invoices in Qube
• Communicating with suppliers to obtain invoices, amend invoices, obtain supplier statements and general invoice queries
• Assisting with periodic payment runs
• Assisting with periodic supplier statement reconciliations and quarterly trade creditors reconciliations
• Dealing with invoice payment queries from team
• Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of purchase ledger entries
• Posting rent receipts and related journal entries into Qube, updating tenant receipt files and monthly rent receipt reports
• Production of monthly tenancy schedule
• Raising periodic charges on Qube for service charges & commercial rent
• Assisting with bank reconciliations (reconciliation of sales ledger entries)
• Production of quarterly tenant turnover report for commercial tenants
• Assist with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting
• Credit control duties - following up with tenants for rent not received and dealing with tenant queries
• Quarterly credit check reporting - commercial tenant.

What skills/attributes will you bring?

• Experience working as a Finance Assistant or similar role
• Property experience (desirable)
• Some experience with in working in/with sales or purchase ledger teams
• Ability to work as part of a team
