Finance Business Partner

Your new company is an exciting newcomer to the travel industry, in their third year and growing rapidly. Based in Purfleet / Grays, you will only be asked to travel to the office two days per week. The team is friendly, and the offices are new and spacious. Parking is available onsite.

Your new role is a Finance Business Partner, concentrating on the businesses' three revenue streams. You will be looking at maximising profits by working closely with the commercial team.
This role will interface closely with our Chief Revenue Officer, Head of Distribution and Head of Inventory & Trading, reporting to the senior finance business partner.

Duties to include

• Full ownership of daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all revenue streams and associated KPI data as well as channel analysis.
• Lead business performance analysis for all revenue streams by monitoring performance against targets and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide and drive sales insights within the sales process to maximise yields and support strategic decision making.
• Review costs and margin performance, identifying opportunities for profit optimisation and cost control.
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investment.
• Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecasting for all revenue streams and their associated costs.
• Develop business partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Support and prepare adhoc analysis for the Commercial Board Pack.
• Work alongside the reporting team to provide insight and commentary for internal and external reporting.
• Various ad hoc reports and tasks as required.

Management of Junior Finance Business Partner - lead and development

What you'll need to succeed the client is looking for someone from a travel, retail or entertainment / leisure background. Evidence of analysing revenue as opposed to cost analysis. Perhaps your career path has taken you into an analyst role, and you are keen to progress into the full business partner role. Due to the location of the offices, you would ideally have your own transport. Ideally, you will be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
