An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a large service provider with offices that are based in Tamworth. This is a role that will offer you good progress and career development.

Main Duties:

As a Finance Business Partner your main duties include:

• Providing insightful and proactive financial analysis, advice, and recommendations to the management team on operational matters and commercial decision-making, including pricing strategies, investment prospects, acquisitions, business cases, capital expenditure requirements, and cost-benefit tracking.
• Supporting the management team in the structured and profitable growth of the business, aligned with Board-approved business plans.
• Delivering clear and user-friendly financial insights to the Managing Director and leadership team. Analysing complex data to identify key business implications, interpreting financial trends and variances, and linking these to operational performance.
• Assisting with budget preparation and monthly financial reports. Compiling the Division’s trading reviews and board reports, ensuring meaningful presentation of results to the Group CEO/CFO.
• Overseeing the Division’s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing thorough analysis and commentary for the Divisional leadership and Group finance teams.
• Maintaining a strong financial control framework to ensure systems and reporting consistently operate at the highest standards, with a focus on accuracy in financial data.
• Collaborating with the Managing Director and senior leaders to shape pricing policies that secure new business on sound commercial terms, including margin management and risk assessment, while also refining business processes to enhance operational efficiency and divisional profitability.
• Working closely with the Credit Control team to meet their performance standards and objectives, alongside effective engagement with the Direct sales and leadership teams.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is a hybrid split with a couple of days in their offices in Tamworth. They have a really diverse and inclusive workforce with a great team.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Business Partner experience
• Good Communication skills
