Finance Business Partner

CY Executive are exclusively recruiting for a newly created Finance Business Partner to join a forward-thinking and growing organisation based in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to contribute to financial performance, strategic decision-making, and continuous improvement across the business.

The Role:

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis, month-end reporting, and partnering with internal stakeholders and a subsidiary business to drive commercial and operational performance. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support finance improvement initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and various strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly and departmental finance reports
• Lead on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide meaningful financial insights to support departmental performance
• Develop strong relationships across the business to drive collaboration
• Support procurement, contract pricing, and cost tracking
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and assist in statutory account preparation
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and finance transformation initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience
• Proven financial and operational analysis skills
• Experience of month-end reporting and control processes
• Strong Excel skills; Sage Intacct experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Adaptable, organised, and proactive with a positive mindset
