Finance Business Partner – Scunthorpe – £50,000 - £55,000

We are proud to be partnering with a fast growing, PE backed market leading business in Scunthorpe to recruit a dynamic, commercially minded Finance Business Partner, to support with their growth journey. The successful candidate will bring the numbers to life, provide insight, partner operational managers, support strategic decision-making, and drive operational performance across the group as they scale.

Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:

• Developing operational reporting/KPI suite alongside BI Manager
• Translating financial data into actionable insights through presenting data to PE and operational stakeholders
• Identifying and actioning business cases for cost saving / strategic revenue growth
• Assisting in commentary/variance analysis for monthly management reporting based on commercial knowledge of the business
• Assisting in preparation of monthly management information reporting
• Developing physical relationships with operational stakeholders, getting ‘out’ into the business and understanding commercial realities ‘bringing the numbers to life’
• Assisting in business improvement projects to drive margin and profitability
• Upskilling operation by providing context and insight for financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Assisting in preparation of budgets/forecasts

Required Skills & Experience:

• Actively Studying PQ or Newly Qualified Accountant, with strong business partnering experience
• Experience in a fast-paced growing business is an advantage
• Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems and Excel
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change
• A passion for digital transformation and continuous improvement
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong commercial common sense led approach
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
