Salary: £65,302 – £70,260 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a strategic and highly organised business leader with a passion for education? A forward-thinking secondary academy is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner & Head of Operations to join its Senior Leadership Team.

This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all non-teaching functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the academy’s operations. You will lead on finance, estates, health and safety, IT, administration, catering, marketing, and compliance—playing a key role in shaping the academy’s strategic direction.

• Lead financial operations including budget planning, monthly reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to the Principal and senior leaders, offering expert financial guidance.
• Oversee operational areas such as estates, IT, catering, and facilities management.
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial sustainability.
• Manage and develop support staff teams, promoting high standards and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, health and safety, food hygiene, and emergency protocols.
• Lead capital and premises projects from inception to completion.
• Drive income generation through grants, lettings, and funding bids.
• Coordinate educational visits, ensuring compliance with policy and financial regulations.
• Support marketing, communications, admissions, and community engagement.
