Finance Business Partner

We're working with a high-growth, fast-paced business in the consumer goods sector to recruit a newly created Finance Business Partner role. This position has been designed to strengthen the commercial arm of the finance team, focusing on performance, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration rather than traditional reporting.

You'll work closely with a small established controllership team with your own remit centred around budgeting, forecasting, commercial insight, and business partnering across multiple operational teams.

• Partner with teams across Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Stock, and Marketing to support decision-making and drive performance

• Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, offering meaningful insights and challenge where needed

• Conduct detailed financial and performance analysis to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost efficiency

• Deliver insight to drive disciplined cost control and improve business understanding of financial performance

• Handle large datasets to deliver clear reporting and commercial recommendations

• Support audit and tax pack preparation as part of the wider finance team

• Strong commercial acumen with a business partnering mindset

• Operational finance experience in a fast-paced environment

• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis

• Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with complex datasets

• A relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying towards

• Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000
