Finance Business Partner

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a successful construction-affiliated business in Derby as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner into the team.

The business has been established since 1998 and have achieved rapid growth and built an excellent reputation to date, based on delivering quality and cost-effective solutions to their partners.They employ over 1000 people and operate in over 15 locations across the UK.

Salary: Up to £55,000 (Dependent on experience)

Hybrid working – Can do 3-4 days working from home – 1-2 days in the office at Derby but you can go into the office more if you wish.

Hours: 37.5 per week

This will be a really all round FBP role with chance to get involved in lots of projects. The role will include: -

• Driving Operational Excellence: Collaborate closely with our operations teams to optimize financial performance, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost control.
• Providing Strategic Insights: Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing valuable insights to our leadership team.
• Supporting Business Growth: Partner with divisional leaders to develop and implement strategies that enhance profitability and drive sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant: A strong accounting background with at least 2 years of PQE in a commercial environment.
• Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Business Acumen: Experience in commercial or business partnering is a plus.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and data management tools.
• Team Player: A collaborative and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent Communication: The ability to communicate effectively financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
