Finance Business Partner

Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a well know organisation based in South Birmingham in the search for a Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional who thrives on adding value and driving strategic decision-making.

• Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge to drive performance.

• Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets.

• Support business planning processes and financial modelling for key projects.

• Deliver clear, concise commentary to non-finance stakeholders to inform decision-making.

• Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and revenue growth.

• Monitor key performance indicators and support operational improvements.

• Collaborate with wider finance and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Strong commercial acumen with previous business partnering experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business insight.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) advantageous.

• A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset.
