Finance Business Partner

NXTGEN are pleased to partnering with a well established global brand in Peterborough who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team during a period of exciting growth and transformation. This Finance Business Partner role will be key in supporting the wider Sales and Commercial functions, providing high-quality insight and challenge to drive strategic decision-making and commercial performance.

Working closely with key stakeholders, the Finance Business Partner will act as a true business partner, helping shape commercial strategy and supporting commercial pricing, tenders, and contract negotiations. You'll also lead the financial input on key projects and work collaboratively with an outsourced Credit Control team to ensure robust controls and reporting are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Commercial/Sales team to provide financial insight, challenge and support on pricing, tenders, promotions, and contracts

• Act as finance lead on cross-functional projects and new business initiatives

• Own the relationship with external credit control partners, ensuring performance and compliance to internal standards

• Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making

• Support commercial forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong commercial acumen and proven experience in a business partnering environment. You'll bring excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight that drives decision-making. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems are essential. Experience within an FMCG or similarly fast-paced environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
