Finance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality financial insight, support and reporting across key curriculum areas, enabling the organisation to make informed, strategic decisions.

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with budget holders to provide advice, information and proactive support that improves financial performance, control and effectiveness.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including in-year forecasts, accounting adjustments, pay forecasts and capital spend tracking, with clear commentary.
• Contribute to the budget and 3-year Financial Plan, managing income and expenditure budgets and understanding curriculum plans for allocated areas.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
• Work closely with the Head of Financial Planning, Partnering and Reporting to ensure compliance with financial controls and processes.

Essential Requirements

• CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial control, compliance, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Skilled in budget preparation, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
• Customer-focused approach, building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
