Finance Business Partner

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on partnering with the business and driving performance? We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team and play a key role in shaping our success.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic business services organisation with Private Equity backing, where you'll have the chance to influence strategy, improve profitability, and support exciting projects across the group. The role is remote with weekly travel to sites in the South, North and Midlands based locations and requires two days a week travel.

What you'll be doing:

• Acting as a trusted partner to operational and project teams, providing clear financial insight to support decision-making.
• Leading project accounting - budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and performance reporting.
• Managing cash flow and providing accurate forecasting to maximise efficiency.
• Preparing and presenting budgets, forecasts, and financial dashboards to senior stakeholders.
• Monitoring performance, analysing variances, and recommending solutions to drive improvements.
• Building strong cross-functional relationships, fostering financial awareness across the business.
• Ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations and mitigating project-related risks.

What we're looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Proven background in business partnering, ideally within a multi-site or project-focused environment.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting skills with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - able to explain financials to non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
