We are partnering exclusively with a unique and culturally significant organisation to recruit an outstanding Finance Business Partner—a commercially astute, strategically minded finance leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance of this unique and multi‑faceted trading organisation. Sitting just below the Head of Finance, this role leads the finance function day‑to‑day, combining ownership of management reporting, planning and controls with deep business partnering across caried site‑based operations. It is a highly visible, impactful position with the scope to develop and influence at senior level. As Finance Business Partner, you will act as the critical link between Finance and operational teams, delivering clear, insight‑driven analysis that supports decision‑making, strengthens financial performance and drives commercial improvement. You will lead the monthly reporting cycle, develop forecasting accuracy, and own financial planning processes, whilst ensuring robust control, strong data integrity and a culture of financial literacy across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner who enjoys combining high‑quality analysis with operational engagement, continuous improvement and hands‑on leadership.
Key responsibilities:
Lead management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling. Partner with senior leaders across operations to translate financial data into actionable insight. Drive commercial performance through improved margin analysis, cost control and KPI development. Lead cashflow forecasting and treasury management. Oversee and enhance financial systems, processes and reporting frameworks. Provide operational leadership to the finance team, ensuring accuracy, rigour and financial discipline. Deliver full accounting and reporting responsibilities for related entities. Support the wider business with financial guidance, process improvement and high‑quality business support. About you:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or ‘QBE’. Strong FP&A expertise across budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and variance analysis. Proven commercial and analytical capability with experience delivering management insight. Advanced financial systems knowledge, with excellent Excel and/or Power BI modelling skills. Experience delivering or implementing new financial or operational systems. Strong communicator, able to build rapport and influence non‑financial stakeholders effectively. Comfortable working independently and partnering with senior managers. Curious, collaborative and committed to driving positive change.
