Finance Business Partner

I am currently partnering with our Exeter based client who are looking to expand their commercial team and recruit a Finance Business Partner.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role involves fulfilling key management accounting responsibilities and providing crucial financial support to our business directorates and management teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, journal processing, and variance investigation.
* Analyse performance, report variances to budget/forecast, and work with management teams to correct performance.
* Develop and prepare high-quality reports and management information for the Senior Finance Business Partner and Management Teams.
* Act as a business partner for key business functions, serving as the main contact for senior managers and presenting findings at monthly financial meetings.
* Lead the production of annual detailed driver-based budgets in coordination with business function management teams.
* Lead the production of quarterly forecasts, considering deviations from budget.
* Assist in preparing financial information for Annual Performance Reporting and Price Review submissions.
* Provide support and analysis for regulatory accounting and submissions.

THE CANDIDATE:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
* Technically sound knowledge of management accounting (accruals, prepayments, journal processing).
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.).
* Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
* Financial modelling skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business to build key working relationships.
* Ability to consistently deliver accurate and timely financial information.
