£55,000- £70,000 + Benefits
Flexible and Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home typically)
Regular Travel to London

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a £200mill T/O division of a well know manufacturing/ Service business based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial focused accountant to join a business which has witnessed impressed growth and have a strong strategy and vision for the future.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will be in a stand alone role, reporting directly into the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities:

- Take full ownership for this business unit from an accounting perspective, supported by the central financial accounting and shared services team
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis
- Performance control and financial analysis
- Generation and analysis of financial statements and a range of financial reports
- Business Partner key Directors and Managers to support the strategic growth of the business to ensure delivery of the long term project and subsequent service and maintenance contracts.
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with internal stakeholders as well as Joint Venture partners
- Forecasting and reforecasting to include any changes in forex and indexation
- Hedging and required analysis
- Contract Accounting - Financially managing and reporting on long term contracts (investment appraisal, monitoring costs, producing forecasts, recognition of revenue)
- Managing the contracts working relationship
- Continuous business, systems and process improvement projects

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with proven commercial acumen with in a project environment either construction of manufacturing. You will have previous business partnering experience coupled with a strong understanding of technical accounting. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business and challenge in the right way. Previous experience of working in a business with contracts and projects either within construction or manufacturing or a linking sector would be an advantage.
