PURPOSE:
• This is a key role in developing methodology and accuracy of key non financial metrics, in particular those reported externally.
• Development of data management systems to support governance and accessibility of key non financial metrics
• Working with businesses to prioritise and measure the impact of the data improvement areas identified
• Direct involvement in the evaluation and measurement of key improvement activities against agreed targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct involvement in the management and development of data management solutions to support the tracking, monitoring, accuracy and availability of non financial metric data.
• Development of process to support improvements in data quality and accuracy,
• Working with the Head of Finance Business Partnering to partner with the subject matter experts across the division to provide value add in the ESG area and to deliver integrated reporting.
• Staying in touch with the evolving regulatory environment to ensure compliance with the requirements of regulators and external stakeholders
• Working to embed financial good practice into functions that traditionally had little finance engagement
• Partnering with functional leads supporting analysis, challenge and risk and opportunity management
• Working across all business units to ensure that verification of the key non-financial metrics are in place, developed and of an acceptable standard.
• Similarly, working closely with internal and external audit teams to ensure that verification and accuracy are confirmed.
• Managing the annual and regular processes to assess the accuracy of data submissions and understand the improvements that are being made in the underlying results.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives to simplify processes, automate processes, or eliminate “workarounds” to improve collation and reporting processes. Delivery of accurate timely information for reporting requirements
