Location - South London, hybrid working 2-3 days in the office

The LHH Housing team are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a community-led housing association to recruit for their Finance Business Partner.

This role will pro-actively contribute to the residents and its community with a commitment to a providing excellent services in alignment to its values. The primary focus is to provide financial insights that support decision-making, enhance value for money and ensure financial sustainability across various departments, including; housing management, customer service, property services, and development.

Responsibilities include:

- Monthly Management Accounting; Produce monthly accounts for various divisions; including intercompany recharges and commercial activities.

- Stakeholder Engagement; Deliver a progressive and solutions-focused financial support service, providing consistent, clear and accessible financial reporting tools to meet the needs of the Executive Team and managers.

- Budgeting & Forecasting lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts for assigned departments or projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and financial targets.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly management accounts, highlighting variances, trends, and financial performance. Provide actionable insights to non-financial managers to aid in operational decision-making.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within financial operations and reporting, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

- Financial Accounting; Be responsible for producing the subsidiary statutory accounts; leading on the annual audit and preparing and reconciling lead schedules and responding to audit queries.
