About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially minded Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who is close to qualification and eager to step into a Finance Business Partner role. This position is ideal for someone with just a couple of exams remaining who wants to gain hands-on business partnering experience in a fast-paced, growing organisation.

Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams, you will provide financial insights, support decision-making, and play a key role in driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to operational and commercial teams, providing financial analysis and guidance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Analyse project performance, margins, and cost drivers to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare monthly management information, including variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Support the development of KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools.
• Contribute to pricing strategies, tender reviews, and investment appraisals.
• Build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, promoting financial awareness across the business.

About You

• Part-qualified/Finalist
• Previous experience in management accounts, FP&A, or business partnering is desirable.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of ERP systems is a bonus.
