Finance Controller

NXTGEN are pleased to be recruiting for a Finance Controller to join a highly reputable business based in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance manager/controller to take ownership of a well-established finance function while playing a key role in shaping the financial future of the company. With a clear progression pathway to Finance Director, this role is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a pivotal role in the day to day finance function and will be hands on in this role leading from the front.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Overseeing tax obligations, including VAT and corporate tax
• Developing and managing budgets while providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Monitoring cash flow, working capital, and profitability to ensure financial sustainability.
• Implementing internal controls and driving process improvements across the finance function.
• Leading and mentoring a finance team of, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical knowledge and proven experience in financial leadership. You should be commercially minded, proactive in driving change, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
