Finance Director

Simpson Judge are exclusively partnered with a leading SME who is seeking a Finance Director to join the team. This role will be integral in driving and executing the financial strategy of the business. This is an office based role within Commutable Distance from Warrington, Runcorn, St Helens and Knowsley.

Salary: £80,000-£100,000 plus company car/car allowance and bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Executive team to define and execute financial strategy that aligns with overall business objectives
• Take the lead in preparing detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long term plans. Provide financial analysis to drive key decision making
• Oversee the production of financial reports for stakeholders, including the Managing Director, Board members, and external parties
• Manage and optimise cash flow and working capital, implementing strategies to maintain liquidity and reduce financial risk
• Drive cost control, enhance operational efficiencies and identify opportunities to drive profitability
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, offering strategic insight into how these factors influence financial operations

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Experience in the telecoms industry would be advantageous
• Experienced Sage 200/50 user
• Experienced PowerBI user
