Finance Director

Here at Accountable we have been retained by our client seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial reporting team, based in Liverpool city centre. As an audit trained (ACA/ACCA) accountant you will ensure robust financial controls, accurate statutory reporting, and support strategic decision-making at a senior level.

Based full time at the newly refurbished Liverpool office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting (statutory, quarterly, annual)

• Maintain compliance and advise on accounting standards and tax matters

• Partner with auditors, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams

• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team

• Continuously improve financial systems and processes

• ACA /ACCA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge

• Real estate/asset-heavy industry experience preferred

• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• Strong Excel and accounting systems expertise

• Commercially minded with a focus on process improvement

• £90-110k
