Multi-site division of a highly sophisticated UK manufacturing business. This business has a significant £t/o and operates out of multiple sites in the UK and US.

Your new role

This is a Finance Director level role and has multiple site financial controllers reporting to it. The position will at times involve overseas travel, but will primarily be based in the South West and would suit applicants living in either Somerset or Devon. Duties in the role include :

• Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis of divisional results to support the divisional MD in achieving budget, forecast and strategic goals.
• Lead the preparation and oversight of divisional budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Act as a strategic finance partner, evaluating the financial impact of key decisions and preparing business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Drive financial performance analysis, including product line profitability, working capital efficiency (especially inventory), and standard cost variance management.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls across divisional sites, support external audits, and oversee tax pack submissions for consolidated reporting.
• Manage and develop site financial controllers, support acquisition assessments, and conduct financial due diligence on potential targets.

What you'll need to succeed

Fully qualified with either ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Senior Finance Leadership background, ideally within a multi-site, multinational manufacturing business.

Knowledge of UK and US Gaap
