We're recruiting for a Finance Director to join a high-energy, fast-paced business with a £50m turnover and operations spanning retail, e-commerce, and service delivery. The organisation is growing and evolving — and it needs a finance leader who can shape strategy, drive performance, and lead with confidence.

This is a commercially focused and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, visibility, and impact.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll take ownership of the financial strategy, planning and reporting across the business — while being closely involved in operations and decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation of annual and medium-term financial plans and budgets in partnership with the CEO and SLT
• Delivering timely, accurate, and relevant financial reports to the Board and SLT to support strategic and operational decisions
• Driving the development and delivery of the company’s annual Business Plan, aligned to corporate objectives
• Providing financial leadership across the organisation, supporting departmental heads on budgeting, KPIs, pricing, revenue generation, and cost efficiencies
• Leading and developing a capable, engaged finance team (currently an FC, 3–4 accountants, 4–5 support staff)

About You

You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of working in a senior finance role within a commercially driven SME. You have a proven track record of shaping financial strategy, leading planning and budgeting cycles, and supporting executive-level decisions.

Experience in sectors such as retail, events, catering, or e-commerce is helpful but not essential.
