Finance Director

Greenwell Gleeson are exclusively recruiting for an investor backed engineering business as they seek to recruit a Finance Director. Working directly for the CEO this board level position will play an integral role in helping the business meet its medium and long term growth and profit targets. As the finance director you will be required to take responsibility for the smooth running of all aspects of the finance function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and dealing the PE investors and other external stakeholders. You will also be heavily involved in operational and commercial aspects of the business to help improve efficiency and profitability margins. Additinally you will play a leading role in devloping and delivering the strategy which will most likely include M&A. To be successful in the role you will need to have held a similarly senior role in a manufacturing/engineering or distribution business, have experience of being part of a SMT and finally experience within a VC/PE environemnt and of M&A transactions wil be highly desirable.
