Finance Director

A rare opportunity to step into a high-impact Finance Director role on a part-time basis. This is your chance to professionalise a finance function, influence strategy alongside the founder and play a pivotal role in scaling a PE-backed, high-growth business (currently achieving 50% year-on-year growth).

Reporting to the CEO, your remit will include:

• Full ownership of the finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice
• Implementing fit-for-purpose systems, revenue recognition and cost categorisation
• Managing day-to-day financial activities, including cash flow, monthly accounts and reporting
• Overseeing inventory control and ROI analysis to support decision-making
• Driving professionalisation of finance processes as the business scales
• Providing strategic input at board level and building a small team in line with growth

What you will need:

• Proven Finance Director experience with a hands-on approach
• To be qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• A strong background in manufacturing, engineering or similar sector
• Gravitas to influence, challenge and partner with a strong CEO
• Commercial mindset, resilience and confidence in a fast-paced environment
• Experience of working with PE-backed businesses
