Job Description

  Provide strategic leadership across Karibu's finance and IT functions, ensuring strong financial performance, robust governance and the resources needed to deliver the organisation's objectives.

  Act as a trusted adviser to the Board and Executive Team, building strong relationships and providing strategic insight to support effective decision making.

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee the production of the annual accounts, regulatory returns and external audit process, ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting and treasury management, ensuring Karibu maintains a sustainable financial position and capacity for future investment.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide strategic oversight of IT and digital transformation, ensuring technology supports excellent services, operational efficiency and organisational growth.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead the organisation's approach to risk management and value for money, embedding a culture of accountability and efficiency.

  
  

The Successful Applicant

• 
  

  Qualified accountant with a successful track record in senior leadership roles in the social housing sector or similar.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience of financial strategy, treasury management and regulatory compliance.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable operating at board and executive level, with the ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

  
  


• 
  

  A collaborative and inspiring leader with strong interpersonal skills, an appreciation of the opportunities and challenges that are facing the social housing sector.
