£110/120k + options

Talentedge are proud to be partnering with an early stage, rapid scale eCommerce startup who are already generating sales of £400k+ p/m having only started trading within the last 18 months. Having recently secured a significant amount of Seed investment from a well known VC, this is an incredibly exciting time to join.

As Finance Director (1 st finance hire), you’ll work in close partnership with the extremely passionate & ambitious Co-Founders on scaling the business internationally.

You’ll be amazing for this role if you are a strong coder, a strategic and commercially focused accountant, have a high passion for consumer products & love startups!

Key responsibilities:

• Design and roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems, utilising technology to automate
• Own monthly management and annual statutory reporting
• Prepare strategic, commercial and financial objectives for the business
• Business partner cross-functionally, in particular with Product, Data and GTM teams
• Work closely with Founding team on international expansion
• Drive future VC fundraising rounds

Profile:

• ACA qualified with a strong academic background (in this instance a STEM degree from a top university)
• Software engineering / coding exposure
• Experience of working within a high growth D2C / eCommerce / FMCG business that has scaled rapidly
• Fundraising exposure
• Strong analytical and data visualisation skills with advanced Excel
• Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
