Finance Director / CFO

FRS are recruiting a Finance Director / CFO for a reputable Legal Firm based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to work directly with the Managing and Regional Partners in growing the business, contribute to the realisation of the firm's objectives and be a strategic voice at management level.

Our client is a well-respected leading specialist law firm operating nationally across multiple offices. With 40+ year's experience, the firm have organically grown to 100 Lawyers with generating a revenue in excess of £10m and whilst already the market leader within their field, their specialism has an excellent scope for continued development.

This position will partner with the Owner & Managing Partner to drive the business forward - this will suit an ambitious and well experienced Finance Director looking for a progressive move with a firm who have exciting plans.

Whilst this position will have great scope for BAU tasks around developing the companies process, controls & systems, the successful candidate will also be the lead on working on the company strategy, M&A and associated Due Diligence and integrations then to be followed with assisting the managing partner lead the business to exit once revenue targets are achieved

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

• Be formally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) although P/Q and QBE with Relevant experience considered
• Have previous experience gained with an SRA Regulated Law Firm (ideally £10m-30m+ turnover)
• Be a strategic thinker with experience operating in a senior finance capacity (Financial Controller / Head of Finance / Finance Director / CFO)
• Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Responsible for daily operations, developing financial strategies and providing financial guidance to the firms leadership
• Manage all budgeting, forecasting, P&L, income & expenditure analysis & reporting
• Taking part in audits & liaising with external partners

The business are open minded on salary but offer a salary between £120-160k which has the potential to be negotiable on experience.
