Finance Director - Manufacturing

A well-established and respected UK manufacturing business, part of a larger international group, is seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to join their leadership team. As Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy, providing critical insight at board level and leading a high-performing finance team.

• Drive the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business and growth goals

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities

• Deliver clear financial reporting and ensure compliance with statutory and internal policies

• Partner with the Group HQ for monthly consolidation and reporting

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks

• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support executive decision-making

• Oversee treasury, investment strategy, and stock integrity management

• Support operational teams with cost control and efficiency improvements

• Lead finance team development, driving a culture of performance and collaboration

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and lead financial due diligence

• Oversee ERP improvement projects in conjunction with business process teams

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience

• Proven background in senior finance leadership, ideally within manufacturing

• Commercially astute with hands-on experience in CAPEX, OPEX, and EBITDA management

• Strong ERP knowledge (Microsoft BC365 experience advantageous)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
