Your new company HAYS are excited to be partnering with a well-established and growing UK business that is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on financial management with team leadership and business partnering responsibilities.Based in Cannock, the role offers a hybrid working pattern of four days in the office and one day from home. Your new role Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, leading a team across management accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing cash flow, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, driving process improvements and providing meaningful commercial insight to stakeholders across the organisation.This opportunity would suit a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant position. Strong management accounting, financial reporting and team leadership experience are essential, along with the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, multi-site environment. The business offers genuine opportunities to make an impact, influence change and contribute to ongoing growth. Whilst initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, there is realistic potential for the role to become permanent. What you'll need to succeed
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant role Strong management accounting and financial reporting background Experience leading and developing finance teams Experience managing audits and statutory reporting requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhat you'll get in return
