This is a role for someone who wants more than month‑end and a polite pat on the head.

It’s a 12‑month contract with real breadth and depth exposure, in a business that’s scaling fast enough that the finance function is still catching its breath. You won’t be “supporting” someone else’s work, you’ll be taking ownership of it.

If you like tidy systems, this probably isn’t your dream. If you like fixing things, building things, and being trusted early, it’s spot on.

Your job? Own the management accounts. Run the weekly group cash flow. Sort VAT and payroll. Bring order to the bits of the function that grew faster than the infrastructure. Be the person who frees up two senior leaders to focus on the investment process.

This isn’t a seat‑warming exercise. It’s a “please help us keep pace with the business” hire.

What you’ll walk into
