This role is vital for managing wages, controlling cash flow, and ensuring prompt customer payments in their growing business.

Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, you will…

• Oversee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to all site staff and operatives
• Proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely invoice payments and reduce outstanding debts
• Manage and maintain a healthy cash flow for the business
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements and budgeting/forecasting
• Handle VAT returns and liaise with accounts for tax submissions

Requirements:
As a Finance Manager, you will need…

• Experience in financial management
• Strong knowledge of payroll, credit control and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or similar preferred)
• Previous experience within the construction space is preferred but not essential
