Finance Manager

Stable Role in a Reputable Company based in Northampton. Well-established and financially stable manufacturing business are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee a small team of 2 and report to the Financial Controller.

Are you ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent) or, maybe you have 1-2 exams left to complete your studies, or maybe you are Qualified by Experience.

The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and excited to welcome the new Finance Manager into the team.

Finance Manager duties and responsibilities:
• Preparation of management accounts
• Produce the Profit & Loss
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Presenting accounts to senior management
• Financial analysis
• Supporting quarter-end reporting
• Managing VAT returns and ensuring tax compliance
• Reviewing existing processes and making recommendations for improvements
• Preparing detailed financial and management reports
• Assisting other departments with financial support & guidance

The person:
• Able to supervise and support in managing a small team
• Experienced in producing monthly management accounts by yourself
• Proactive, with a can-do attitude and a solutions-focused mindset
• Good Excel skills
