Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who is proficient in accounting, has strong financial acumen, and is passionate about driving success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and supervising the accounting department.

Description

• Oversee the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
• Conduct analysis and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting within the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Guide the accounting department to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in alignment with company policies.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• ACCA, ACA or equivalent (finalists will also be considered).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
• Ability to work in Cardiff and to adapt in a Transport & Distribution environment.
