Job Description - Finance Manager

Finance Manager | Up to £60k | Huddersfield | Construction

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Huddersfield based client to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting and rewarding role for a hands on finance professional looking for long term career progession working alongside the MD.

The role:

Report to p/t FD and MD
Support Purchase Ledger person
Monthly/Annual Management Accounts
Cashflow forecast
Support Audit
Review and process subcontractor payments
VAT
Support IT
Bank monitoring

The ideal candidate:

Whilst accounting experience in the construction sector / knowledge of CIS would be advantageous this is not essential.

ACCA, CIMA, ACA or QBE with proven experience in a similar role.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Previous experience working in an SME environment.
Able to demonstrate experience in process optimisation and successful system implementation.
Advanced excel skills
