Finance Manager

About the Role:

An established and growing UK-based manufacturer of materials handling equipment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Company Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's financial operations and support its ambitious expansion plans.?

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the cashbook.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payment runs for authorization.
• Perform credit control functions, including resolving outstanding queries.
• Assist with purchasing and raising purchase orders.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare month-end management accounts.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register.
• Maintain and update product costing.
• Plan and attend stock counts and valuations.
• Submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as reasonably expected.?

Candidate Profile:

• AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience with a proven track record of at least 2 years in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Sage 50 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, reliable, and approachable.?
