Job Description - Finance Manager

CIMA or ACCA

Job Title: Accounts Manager
Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Salary: £50,000 – £53,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time | Office-based

Are you an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager looking to take ownership of a dynamic finance function within a growing business? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to oversee financial operations and support strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Manage short- and long-term cash flow to support business growth
Oversee payment runs and manage credit control processes
Deliver monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and trend reporting to the Board
Prepare annual statutory accounts and assist with external audits
Submit VAT returns and manage CIS payments for subcontractors
Handle staff payroll and month/year-end reporting
Identify and implement process improvements for finance systems and controls
Manage and support an Accounts Assistant, including appraisals and development

About You:

CIMA or ACCA part qualified (essential)
Proven experience in a similar Accounts Manager role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, payroll, and CIS
Confident in preparing and presenting financial reports
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach
