Finance Manager

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a growing private equity backed business on their search for a newly created Finance Manager to join their team.

Reporting directing into the Managing Director this role is critical in ensuring the financial health and compliance while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations including transactional duties, bank reconciliations, and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Prepare and monitor budgets, analysing and providing recommendations and develop financial forecasts to support business planning.
* Generate financial reports and collaborate with the group finance function.
* Collaborate with the group finance function, delivering weekly and monthly reports as needed.
* Present insight and trends to senior leadership.
* Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Advanced excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Previous experience working in an SME environment.
* ACCA, CIMA or ACA or Qualified bu experience
